Ron Pruitt is an avid runner and enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He is married to Donna and they have two grown children, Jessica and Kelsey, and one granddaughter, Avery.

Hannah Schroeder is from Barnwell County, South Carolina, and has three brothers and one sister. She also loves children and that's why she's been involved in the ministry of CEF since childhood. She was recently married to

We look forward to working and serving together within our communities to build more life partnerships between churches, schools, and businesses... all with the goal that EVERY child within the Heart of the Palmetto District would be able to hear and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We strongly believe this changes everything!

her husband, Marcus, who she met through college ministry. She loves to sing, play keyboard and guitar, and to read. Hannah started as Ministry Coordinator in January 2019. Hannah spent four summers as a CYIA student, and one summer as a CYIA intern.

Jesse Irvin Overholtzer 

The LOCAL COMMITTEE is a fellowship of Christians who have the responsibility and privilege of reaching the children in its geographic area, whether that is a city, county or group of counties.  It is a committee of the state board, having been organized and authorized by the state board to carry on the vision and programs of CEF within the framework of the USA Organization Manual.  It hires a local director, with the approval of the state board, to carry out these responsibilities under the direct supervision of the state director.  Where there is no local director, the state director works with the local committee in the capacity of director until a new director is approved and pointed.  Special committee may be established on local, state and national and international levels to meet unique needs which the organization experiences.

Sara Sanderson is from Cheraw, South Carolina and came on staff October 2023. Before that, she was a volunteer staff and before that was on the Local Committee. Sara has been married to John since 1993,

Child Evangelism Fellowship was founded by Reverend J. Irvin Overholtzer, a man with a God-given vision for boys and girls in need of the Savior in 1937.

Today, the ministry has grown into the largest evangelistic outreach to children in the world. CEF is currently ministering in nearly every country in the world and in every state and province in North America to develop national and local workers and leaders for completing the mission of CEF.
